CM Maryam Nawaz Announces "Honhar Scholarship Scheme" for Students from Other Provinces
Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, has announced the "Honhar Scholarship Scheme" for students from other provinces, ensuring equal opportunities in education across Pakistan.
Key Highlights of the Announcement:
✅ Uniform Eligibility Criteria: Students from other provinces will be eligible for scholarships under the same criteria as Punjab students.
✅ Laptop Scheme: The minimum eligibility for obtaining a laptop has been set at 65% marks, ensuring that deserving students have access to digital learning resources.
✅ Increased Laptop Quota: The number of laptops for distribution has been increased to 110,000, benefiting more students across the country.
✅ Official Approval for Scholarships: The Honhar Scholarship has been formally approved for second, third, and fourth-semester students, providing financial support to help them continue their education.
